Queens Physical Therapy located in Forest Hills is a renowned physical therapy treatment center in the New York City Metropolitan area.  Located in Queens, clients travel from all 5 boroughs of NYC, and Long Island to seek the expertise of Dr. Elaine Rosen, and Dr. Sandy Rusnak Smith, and their physical therapy associates.

They have studied a wide variety of treatment techniques, with an emphasis on Osteopathic Medicine and Manual Therapy.  By incorporating a complementary alternative approach in their practice, they feel they are better able to treat the “whole person”, both the physical and emotional trauma of their pain. Their extensive training, and many years of experience  has enabled them to achieve great success in helping patients heal and recover from injury, illness, or chronic pain.

Elaine Rosen, PT, DHSc, OCS, FAAOMPT
Recipient of the (Orthopedic Section, APTA) 2003 James A. Gould Excellence in Teaching Orthopedic Physical Therapy Award.  Dr. Rosen completed a BS from Hunter College, a MS in Work Physiology from LIU and a DHSc from the University of St. Augustine. She is an Associate Professor at Hunter College in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and has been a guest lecturer and an adjunct at several other PT programs. She actively practices as a Physical Therapist. She has authored 2 major textbooks, one co-authored with Dr. Rusnak Smith.

Sandra Rusnak-Smith, PT, DHSc, OCS   Dr. Rusnak Smith completed a BS from Hunter College, a MA in CardioPulmonary Physical Therapy from NYU, and a DHSc from the University of St. Augustine. She has lectured at Hunter College, NYU, LIU, and Touro College. She has co-authored a major textbook with Dr. Rosen.

Both Drs. Rusnak and Rosen have lectured extensively throughout the tri-state area and also at state and national conferences. They have jointly published a textbook, book chapters, and peer reviewed articles.
